Gatsby: November 29-30


  1. We read independently for fifteen minutes.
  2. Mrs. Skotnicki introduced the Gatsby vocabulary assignment.
  3. We briefly reviewed the instructions for Picture This, the infographic assignment.
    1. Students should use their Google accounts to sign in to
    2. Mrs. Skotnicki shared her infographic about Postsecondary Teachers with students.
  4. Students set goals for workshop time.
    1. Students decided and recorded what they would accomplish during class time.
    2. Students worked independently on research or reading.
    3. Mrs. Skotnicki checked student work and assisted as necessary.

For homework, 

  • Be reading your independent book.
  • Read chapter 6.
  • FREE audio book version of The Great Gatsby.
