Gatsby: December 5-6


  1. We read independently for fifteen minutes.
  2. Postponed Gatsby discussion (of chapter 7) until next class.
  3. Students set goals for workshop time: infographic, vocabulary, or reading.
  4. Students worked independently on the following:
    1. Reading and annotating Gatsby.
    2. Gatsby vocabulary.
    3. Career infographics.

For homework, 

Gatsby reading and deadline calendar.

  • Be reading your independent book.
  • Read chapter 8 of The Great Gatsby.
  • FREE audio book version of The Great Gatsby.
