A Raisin: January 12-13


  1. Students read independently for fifteen minutes.
  2. We finished reading Act 1, scene 1 of A Raisin in the Sun.
  3. Working with members of their small groups, students participated in an a “Don’t Even Get Me Started” activity.
  4. We picked reading parts for Act 1, scene 2 (on Day 4 of the agenda) and began reading.
  5. Students recorded 1-2 quotes related to their topic in their packets.
