A Raisin: February 6-7

  1. Students read independently for fifteen minutes.
  2. Students wrote & answered interview questions for characters.
  3. We discussed redlining, the illegal practice of denying mortgages to predominantly African American home-buyers.
  4. We picked reading parts for Act 2, scene 2 (on Day 8 of the agenda) and began reading.
