ST Preview/Fake News: March 17-20


  1. We read independently for fifteen minutes.
  2. Mrs. Skotnicki introduced the Senior Thesis to seniors.
  3. Working in small groups, students brainstormed subject ideas for research. We shared and discussed.
  4. Working independently, students brainstormed issues and ideas that are close to their hearts. Students shared one or two ideas with the rest of the class.
  5. Students identified five possible research topic ideas.
  6. We started to evaluate information, how it’s created and what’s behind it.
    1. Memes that spread lies
    2. Fake news stories on the web.

  • Raisin Scene due at 2:35 on Tuesday 3/21.
